Well you must return here for your confinement! There is no better place than home for what seems to be such a tedious time. We shall have to come up with amusements to keep you occupied. The children in the photos are quite… quite handsome children, most. Do say hello to Jane for me?
I always wished to have an older sister growing up…

askelizabethdarcy-deactivated20: Dear Georgiana, I do wish to inform you that your brother and I are expecting a child. I hope you are prepared to be an aunt soon.If the date and time don’t work for you, send me a message and I will have the chatroom open when it is convenient for you!
Oh, this is so exciting! Congratulations! I shall be an aunt, imagine that!
askmariannedashwood: Miss Darcy, how have you been as of late? You have been very quite.I am quiet by nature, Missus Brandon, and positively dreadful at maintaining correspondence. It is one of the many things I think I shall have to resolve.
askgeorgewickham: Alas, Miss Darcy. Were I to ever have any regrets, I'm sure my treatment of you would be one of them.I was but fourteen, sir, and I have grown up since then. I have mixed feelings regarding the subject; however much I may have matured because of your callous treatment of me, it was still reprehensible behavior, and you subjected me to a great deal of pain, and, I suspect, ridicule. Despite this, I have no regrets about your abandonment of me. You saved me a lifetime of being your wife, something which I am happy to leave to Missus George Wickham, neé Lydia Bennett.
They parted at last with mutual civility, and possibly a mutual desire of never meeting again. —Jane Austen (via lifebeforethelobotomy)All right, followers. My character has been demolished. I have been referred to as a rake, a blackguard, a thief of virtue, a whoremonger, and many other unpleasant things. I have also been called someone’s “cuddle bunny”, but that’s neither here or there.
What is here or there, however, is that I wouldn’t use Twilight to promote the oeuvre of Miss Austen. Whoremonger, indeed.
Finally, something upon which I can agree with you. Honestly, Miss Austen’s style is much more refined and clever than Miss Meyers, and any Twilight fans who opens these books will be greeted with quite a surprise.
You are still a rake and a blackguard, however.

askkittybennet: Miss Georgiana! I do hope I find you to be well? It has been a long time since I have seen you. It has been a long while since my family has visited you, your brother and my sister at Pemberly! I do hope to see you quite soon!I’m well, thank you, Miss. Yes, yes it has been a while. I’m sure it would be lovely to see you at some point in the future.
askanneelliot-deactivated201112: Hello, Miss Darcy. I am Anne Elliot and am newly moved to Tumblr. I have heard it said that you are quite the pianist. What sorts of works do you like to play?It is lovely to meet you, Miss Elliot. I do quite a bit on the pianoforte. I like Pleyel, as well as Hayden, but I confess I have a soft spot for Thomas Moore.
